So, I've been kinda down in the dumps for a while.  My hiring got kinda pushed back again for a while.  I was given a brief glimmer of hope that insurance I KNOW to cover trans issues was in my grasp, and then I watched it firmly yanked out of reach.  The Photoshop situation.  Honestly, for the past week, I've been kind of a lifeless waste of air.

Things have more or less all improved within the last 24 hours though.  I finally have hours for my first day (tomorrow), after over a month since actually getting hired.  It's been such a long time coming, and I kinda don't even want to work there anymore after getting jerked around so much by them, but I'm happy that I'll finally be able to consistently bring in money.

Although I still remain uninsured, this may only be temporary.  Furthermore, my future Endo is such a swell lady.  She's basically booked my visit at a Free Clinic for poor people like me, so I can get what I need without much cost (although, we'll still need to rent a car to get there but that's not as big a deal).  So, I'm pretty much set to go on June 19th... although it might be earlier, if I qualify for her hospital's assistance program.  

And Photoshop... works now.  I genuinely don't know why.  I restarted the computer for unrelated reasons, and since then, it hasn't been asking for any codes or anything.  I don't know why, but I'm not about to look a gift horse in the mouth.  I'll run with this as long as I can.  Despite this, by the way, the Rain hiatus still stands.  Although I'm scripted for another couple chapters, not a single page for the coming chapter is physically drawn.  So, I said it'll come back in June, and I'm still aiming for that.  Still, I want to take this opportunity to work on Volume 1.  I'm already months behind schedule on that, and if I have something I can market in the very least, even I lose Photoshop again, I can make the money to legitimately buy it.  More on Volume 1 later...

And today, my lady love bought me Skyward Sword as an early birthday present, along with Motion Plus controller so I can actually play it (my not having the right controller was one of the prime reasons I didn't get the game a while ago).  Dumb question, but is Motion Plus thing essential for any other important games, or is this game really the sole reason I'm even going to have this thing?  (Interestingly, most of the Wii games I get tend not to be the motion-heavy ones... I'm just not into flailing around like a jackass.  I make exceptions for Zelda though).

Oh, and lastly, you may have noticed by now, but I've changed my name on DA.  No longer am I LittleLynn84.  As of today, I'm now JocelynCD.  I feel like it's more professional or something.  Besides, I came up with the nickname "Little Lynn" when I was like 16.  I'm almost 28 now; I think it's time to retire the name.  I haven't liked it for a while, and I've always felt the "84" was unsightly, so I'll stick to calling myself what I genuinely want to be called.  I wasn't going to fret if DA continued to disallow name changes.  But since they started allowing it, just this once, I feel it was worthwhile.  

All in all, I feel better.  ^_^
