Hey, whoa. A post! Bet you weren't expecting this.

Now I know what you're thinking: "Uh, what!? Who are all of these people, and what do they have to do with Rain?"

Well, these folks are some of the classmates of Rain and her friends. Hopefully, more than I'll ever need, but you never know, there may be more in time. Most of them don't play a major role at all in the story. In fact, many of them will simply be a peanut gallery for scenes that require it. And then a handful of them may play a supporting in a single story arc. And then there's one or two among the above students who actually play a somewhat crucial role in the story. (Fun fact: Back when Rain still had a fantasy setting, one of those kids above was the main villain.) But I'll leave who's important and who's not up to your imagination for now. ^_^

To be blunt, I actually drew this primarily for my own personal reference and had no intention of posting this. But I decided I haven't posted anything in a while anyway and thought you guys might have fun with this. And when I say that, I mean that each and everyone of them has a name and personality, no matter how insignificant the character might be.

Before I start explaining these characters, I think it's worth pointing out the collars and sleeves or each student feature one of four colors. In St. Hallvard High School, the colors signify what grade they're in.
:bulletred: Red - Freshman
:bulletorange: Orange - Sophomore
:bulletgreen: Green - Junior
:bulletblue: Blue - Senior
Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Okay, so from left to right:
[Chanel, Holly, Madison, Aidyn, Drew, Rob, Emily, Debbie, Devon, Brett]

Chanel Montoya
Although only her first year in St. Hallvard, students in all grades have been quick to take notice of her... and her "assets". The attention is largely unwanted though as she is a bit of a tomboy. Chanel finds she still hasn't quite adjusted to them either, and feels her ability to play most sports is compromised from her lack of equilibrium.

Holly O'Neill
She is the bubbly captain of the cheerleading squad, and has held this position for all four of her years at St. Hallvard. Even if a lot of things go over her head, Holly has a heart of gold and only has the best of intentions in everything she does. Unfortunately, her ditzy demeanor does lead to her saying really offensive things without realizing or technically even meaning it.

Madison Vintage
Though she wears a sophomore uniform, it's only because Madison skipped the ninth grade. A bright student with a lot of ambition, she finds herself spending a lot of her time hanging around the top seniors in the school to take herself even further.

Aidyn Vintage
Madison's slightly less ambitious older brother. He is secretly a little uncomfortable that his little sister is almost in the same grade as him, but rather than compete with her, Aidyn actually tends to go out of his way to try and help her. It's worth mentioning, that for siblings, they get along surprisingly well. Together, they won several snowman-building competitions as children...

Drew Borelli
A bit of a class-clown, Drew never takes anything seriously and never thinks before he says ANYTHING. He'll flirt with virtually any girl who'll listen to him long enough, but doesn't seem to have much luck. Incidentally, he has claimed to have a girlfriend from St. Mulligan (the rival high school from the next town over), which leads many to wonder WHY he would be flirting. Rumors circulate that she might not be real though; I mean, nobody seems to have ever seen her...

Robert Roberts
He's often called "R2" by his piers due to his short, stocky build and nerdy personality (and his very unfortunate name, of course). He and Drew have been friends since kindergarten. Rob tends to be the voice of reason for Drew, and can be found trying to talk him out of doing incredibly stupid things more often that should be necessary.

Emily Caston
Emily is one heck of an over-achiever. At the top of her class throughout high school, she's aiming to be Valedictorian and what she calls "the perfect year". She's pretty much planned her entire year down to the most minute detail. Incidentally, over the Summer before classes began again, she learned she was farsighted. With her eyes too sensitive for contacts, she's stuck wearing glasses at school... which she considers an absolute blight on her image! As such, she rarely wears them, though she can be found holding them almost all the time.

Debbie Gero
She's Emily's best friend, but she will be the first to say she's insufferable at times. And this attitude carries into virtually everything else too. Debbie is a really nice person and is willing to do anything for anyone; she is quick to take offense to things though and will ALWAYS seek payback... whether it is necessarily deserved or not.

Devon Givens
He is St. Hallvard's star athlete and considers himself everyone's friend. And as odd as it may sound, there is no testimony whatsoever of him ever not wearing his warm, friendly smile. Devon has a big fanbase among the girls in his class, but seems to be largely fickle about the girls he himself likes. Incidentally, the ones he has dated, were NEVER right for him.

Brett Desrocher
A tall, lanky, pale, young boy who may actually rival Rain herself in the shyness department. It's unknown to anyone what exactly goes through his mind, as he spends as much time as possible by himself. Sadly, this leads to him being a bit of a target among his piers.

***

Well, I hope that was fun. Do remember that most of these characters are pretty minor and a lot of what's been discussed here may and/or may not ever actually be brought up in the story. It just gives me something to work with when I'm using them that I CAN build on if I need it.

Also, if you've been watching me for a while, did you catch any tie-ins to some of my other stuff? ;)

Reading this now, some of the characterizations are weird to see.  Rob's in particular just sounds wrong knowing what we do now.
