Emily hates liars. Don’t lie to Emily. Ever.

The irony is that while Rain WAS making excuses to avoid having to go, nothing she actually said was a lie. What? I said Emily hates liars; not that she’s some kind of perfect human lie detector...

Although, she probably thinks so...

This is a fascinating page, especially since you barely see Emily and Rain in conversation. And seeing that Emily has literally twisted Rain's arm with every answer she gave her makes me wonder if it really is that big of a deal that Rain go to the party. But I'm sure this will all come to fruition later. Though I have to admit that I probably would've given the same answers if I was invited to a costume party.

The paneling is pretty cool. Considering that you alway had Rain parallel to Emily, even in the seperate panels. Kind of enhancing the opposition between them. I'm sure I can see something really confrontational happen in the future.

Darn now i am going to wonder about Rain is going to wear. If Emily is able to detect lies than she is scary. At parties it depends i would rather not be the life of the party but i do want to have some fun at them.

I suck at parties. Unless I get just hyper enough to stop caring, without being QUITE so hyper as to make a COMPLETE fool of myself. (Though that time I danced like a full? I had half a dozen girls dance with me back. >,> Maybe I need to make a fool of myself more often.)

I just noticed that Rain has green eyes! I mean, I knew it before. But that doesn't mean I can't notice it again.
Of course, this is the page we've all been waiting for. It's not quite as funny as the last one, although I love how Emily has an answer for every one of Rain's worries. Also, Emily seems less forceful/manipulative in this page. Of course, she could just be acting this way to lure Rain. Come on Rain, you have to go to this party, or else there'll be no story to write! Come on, something significant's going to happen! Er... Ahem!
Anyway, this is great! I can't wait for the obligatory "Over one month later" timecard! Let's get this party started!

Is she really being LESS forceful and manipulative? Or MORE? There's some subtle guilt-tripping and reverse psychology in there. She's just playing the nice girl card while she can, I think.
