Anyway, I just wanted to say that I love the style behind these two pages. As soon as I saw the spoiler tag, I knew that shenanigans were afloat. Regardless, I fell for it completely; the "What actually happened" was at once the most surprising, and the funniest, part of the page. Similarly to the two-pager in chapter 7 (?), in which Heather announces her verdict to Kylie with a ton of white space, this page shows that you're experimenting with style. While this kind of thing definitely shouldn't be overused (if it becomes predictable, it's ruined), I'd love to see it used again! It works really well, both for laughs, and to highlight the difference between "What I want to do" and "What I actually do", a virtually-universal conflict.
It's not necessarily the same joke, but I think it's along the same lines for the most part. Truth be told, I was thinking of that page when I made these.
Personally, I'm jealous of Rain's mentally-constructed beard. I can't seem to mentally-construct anything more than peach fuzz, as far as my own face is concerned. A beard like that... well, let's just say I'd get looks from everyone (...of respect, that is).
