Maria’s pretty smooth when she introduces herself. If only she could be so smooth when making up.

So, kind of like I was asking about Emily a few pages back, what do we think is Chanel’s deal? She very clearly seems to like Maria (in one way or another). She remembered Maria’s name from only hearing it once at a party a few weeks prior. She doesn’t “scoff and walk away” as one boy on the last page described. Heck, she seems a to be sucking up a little. Any thoughts?

Maybe her deal is nothing. :P Maybe all the guys that talk to her are simply hitting on her, and she scoffs them off because she's not looking for a relationship right now?

Maybe she's a robot.

Or an alien.

I'm not quite sure if I want to hop on the Pandorashipping bandwagon just yet, but the thought of Maria and Chanel as a couple is intriguing. It would introduce another facet to the comic's "It's all fine" approach when it comes to love and romance - The Age Gap.

Well it tough to say she could be gay or just bi. She could also just think that Maria is a really cool person and is nervous around her. I am still hoping for Rain and Maria though. I like how she is about to induct another person into the Kaminari fan club.

What is Chanel's deal? Hard to tell just yet, could be gay, could be asexual, could have some fear of guys that stems from a childhood trauma, or she could just be a nerd. Either way, she seems to be getting along well with Maria at the moment and think we can all agree that's basically a good thing ^_^
