This is a weird page. First off, there’re a lot of panels in this one. And only three of them actually contain dialogue. Instead, we get an unusual amount of visual cues from facial expressions, and two shots of the TV for the game. (Funtendo Park, by the way. It comes free with the Yuu Us.)

I really like this page though, because Rain does something rather bold. I’ve built her up for nearly 300 pages now to be an incredibly shy and non-confrontational person. So of course, she’s not going to be able to come up the right words on the spot, no matter how upset she is by what she’s seeing. It’s just not in her to do that. It’s not to say she can’t get mad though. One could argue (and many of you have) that Aiken’s feelings are at least somewhat justifiable. And I believe that too. But his insistence of having only a male avatar made for her on her own game can indeed be seen as something of a passive-aggressive attack. To which Rain passive-aggressively retaliates.

So, let’s take focus off Aiken for a moment and look to Rain. Should she have just played along to placate him, as this is sure to open a can of worms? Or do you believe Rain has done the right thing here, because he has to see how serious she is about this? I would love to hear your thoughts. ^_^

To be fair, I actually somewhat sympathize with Aiken here. I know everybody's loving to hate on him, but...

For one, his first experience with TG's was someone he loved dropping the bomb on him after a proposal, I'm sorry, but in being true to oneself, one should be up front with the people close to them as well,

For two, we've even seen him dealing with a LOT of pain over this, and the fact that he's even being -civil- puts him one rung above Gavin when -he- found out, and Gavin's part of the regular gang and even a purveyor of wisdom and shit to Kylie.

Folks, All I'm saying is give Aiken some slack, even if he's being a Jerkass, so was Gavin at first, and -that- worked out.

I think she should have been even more direct about it. If this had happened to me, I would have just EXPLODED. Aiken's being a baby, and for being a fictional character, he sure does make me angry. Good for Rain!

Now, because of the fact that i don't have siblings, by opinion might be absolutely wrong. :D
I feel like they're going to develop into this sibling rivalry. Like this game for example. he made her male, and she made herself female. I could also see like, Aiken would buy her a very dude-like shirt, and she'd cut it up into a dress/girly styled shirt. he draws a mustache on her face, she draws eyelashes and blushies on his face. you see where i'm getting at here? And them he slowly starts to not care about whether his baby bro has turned into a girl, and realizes that he is still her baby bro, just... like, in girl form. you know what i mean! or, at least I do! :)

I would think she should've re-edited her avatar instead of picking a random one. It shouldn't be that difficult to change gender and name and it would show at least a bit of appreciation to Aiken for creating it for her, but at the same time stating "you uh, got a few parts wrong on my avatar." Just seems more fitting to acknowledge that yes, that is her avatar, no, she isn't his "little bro."
